Workshops in Woodworking
We're pleased to offer a variety of evening, weekend, and summer workshops to meet a variety of interests and skill levels. Our students range from absolute beginners who've never touched a power tool to experienced hobbyists to skilled craftspeople who simply wish to learn a new technique. Some classes require previous experience and specific tools, but most just require an interest in woodworking or home improvement and a few very basic tools.
The majority of our workshops are hands-on classes that result in a finished project; fees for materials are included in the listed tuition for each workshop. We also occasionally offer lectures and demonstrations. Our newest offering is Open Shop, in which you pay for shop time and can build your own project under the supervision of one of our instructors. You must have prior woodworking experience to sign up for Open Shop.
Look at our calendar to check dates and times of upcoming workshops.
Read the descriptions of our workshops. If you see a workshop you'd like to take that isn't yet listed on the calendar, please contact us to see when we expect to post the new dates.
Register for a workshop by downloading our enrollment agreement or calling 413-527-6103. To pay by credit card, please send us an email with your workshop choice(s) and we will send you an electronic invoice.
If you would like to teach a class or suggest a workshop, please call or email us with your ideas. At this time, we're most interested in adding to our selection of weekend workshops and summer intensives, particularly in the area of home improvement.
